Tests readings of different combinations of concrete coated with KALMATRON® KF-αβγ.
Tests readings of concrete coated with KALMATRON® KF-αβγ layers and its dry powder strewed on concrete slab.
These test results opened various KALMATRON® KF-αβγ applications including strewing of dry powder on/into the source of radiation. Premix with radioactively contaminated dust and ash is the most popular technology in many fields.
Evaluation of radiation attenuation of concrete slabs with thickness 30 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 50 mm and 55 mm.

Column at right represents attenuation data of 30 mm concrete slab coated with 25 mm of KALMATRON® KF-αβγ layer.

That readings exceeds 30 mm concrete slab by 149% and 55 mm concrete slab by 44%.

Economical effect is significant also!

KF-αβγ layers at 10 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, and 25 mm.

Final comparison is done with 30 mm lead slab.

As it measured, the difference between 30 mm concrete slab coated with 25 mm of KALMATRON® KF-αβγ layer is 16% for high level and 9% for low level.

Final comparison is done with 30 mm lead slab.

As it measured, the difference between 30 mm concrete slab coated with 45 mm of KALMATRON® KF-αβγ layer is equal to the lead slab 30 mm thick.

The advantage is that the lead slab is not applicable at all.
